The Japanese word “Do-gu (道具)” means “tools” and comes from samurai weapons such as spears and swords. Unlike “appliance” which require many hands and great strength to be effective and powerful, “tools (Do-gu)” are made by each individual’s expertise skills and produce simple functionality and elegant style. We believe that’s how the “tools (Do-gu)” have fascinated users. With all Fieldo-Gu’s heart of Japanese cultural “tools,” we hope to be of help to all those who work in any kind of workplaces.
